The end of the year has gotten me so excited. I get to return to Louisville, who acts as my inspiration and my home. I can’t wait to see my old haunts, daydream about the past, see familiar faces.
I adore my life in Chicago, so fast paced and exhilarating. I love my own apartment, my huge bed, color coordinated, shady streets, and windy walkways everywhichway.
I just need a little breathing room to think about 2012. Thank God 2011 is over; it started off so ridiculous, and I got lost around the roadblocks God threw my way. I’m ready to start a new year filled with love, adventures abroad, and graduation from college.

We tried not to reblog this but some sort of higher power commandeered our keyboard.
Yeah yeah yeah yeah. I love the world.

Anonymous asked: Hi. I used to live in Chicago but felt like I missed out on the city while I was there. I googled, "my life in Chicago" and your blog came up. It's fun to read. You're a good writer. My question is, what brought you to Chicago? Sorry if you already explained that somewhere in this blog.
Thank you for reading! I came her for university, and I plan to stay for some years after graduation. It’s a great place to live.

I think we all take life a little too seriously.
But seriously,
It’s the end of the world if we are 15 minutes late in our plans. It’s not our faults; we live in a society that measures self-worth by your success.
But I think we all secretly want to put on our sheep slippers, huge sweat pants, cuddle on the couch, and watch CSI Special victims unit as we wait for the chilling rain to subside.

I remember listening to this last winter in the quiet room of the library.
I’m feeling that deja vu.

I can’t begin to tell you how much I don’t want winter to come.
The past couple month’s I’ve been giddy, the good times have been rollin’. I have fantasies about not coming back next semester and wearing patterned orange
